Rafael Vicente Correa Delgado
President for the República de Ecuador
The chapter dedicated to this President is a present juncture fresh plaster. Full apart from the traditional ways of the old "chiefs of state" in América Latina, he shows himself as a young and vital politics man, not conventional, spontaneous but knowledgeable and guileless.
We could become familiar with his dreams. We travelled alongside with him and watch a side never before recorded with a television (broadcast) camera. He spoke about the Washington Consensus during the nineties and it's outcomes for the region, also about the recipes of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the "Integración Latinoamericana" (Latin American regional integration)
We visited Guayaquil, the city were he was born, the school of his childhood. We met his teachers and could see his scholar report cards. Nothing leftover; these and other situations could be seen on argentine TV screens.
